Ever more attentive to the needs of our regions

By drawing on its adaptability and flexibility, Executive Education is able to offer a much wider range of services. Its ambition? To provide a sound solution to the strategic skills required by companies in its region.

— KEY NUMBER —

This is the number of executives, managers and directors who attend an Executive Education course at our School each year.

What have been your department’s main achievements in 2019?

For me, three major strategic areas have defined this past year. The first major step was, in my opinion, the decision to no longer treat our bespoke and business-to-business programmes as two separate entities. By combining all of our internal skills, we have successfully developed a more integrated offer in line with learners’ needs. Thus, this allows us to offer more flexibility and versatility, with courses that can be completed over several years, and tailor-made courses combining face-to-face, digital and/or blended learning. Our programmes have been adapted according to the constraints of learners and companies. Finally, in 2019, we successfully expanded our offering to cover new national and international territories. The results of this strategy are reflected in the rankings, and, in particular, in our position among the top 50 institutions worldwide according to the Financial Times.

What is the outlook for 2020?

For 2020, our first Ambition is to foster synergy between Audencia’s territories, in France and internationally. In addition to platforms for exchange and communication between the various stakeholders (Professors, Operations and Quality Managers, and learners), it is a learning experience open to multiculturality and ecosystem diversity. We want to create stronger links between promotions in France and internationally. In terms of our corporate services, we are aiming to establish Audencia as a solution provider for all decision-making levels of management (governance, top and middle management). We are planning to integrate our offering into Audencia’s global support approach (expert support, studies and training). Lastly, we want to enhance the learning experience at Audencia by leveraging our capacity to innovate and promoting our specialist hubs.

In your view, 120 years is synonymous with…

For Executive Education, these last 120 years reflect our ongoing contribution to Audencia’s regions. Today, these regions are becoming more and more adaptable. This anniversary is also an opportunity to confirm that it is Executive Education’s aim to continue adapting to new challenges in order to support the major players in the region. Over the past few years, we have achieved growth by improving the quality of our internationally accredited training programmes thanks to greater interaction between our research and teaching systems. This history should always guide our actions, allowing us to meet the needs of our partners thanks to our ability to listen and to adapt accordingly.
