What have been your department’s main achievements in 2019?

2019 has been marked by our active participation in the white paper for the Grande Ecole Conference “Management schools: working towards a learning ecosystem” (“Les écoles de management : vers un écosystème apprenant”). We will also have contributed to the development of new learning spaces, mainly on the Atlantic Campus. Lastly, the year will have been characterised by two new successful versions of innovative educational initiatives promoting hybridisation in conjunction with Centrale Nantes and the National School of Architecture (Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture – ENSA): Alliance Days (Journées de l’Alliance) and Citylab Alliance.

What is the outlook for 2020?

Audencia Innovation is especially committed to assisting teachers in the digitalisation of their pedagogical practices in 2020. Additional major areas of focus for the coming year include start-up incubators founded by students and alumni and increased support for student entrepreneurs during their education. Our department is also working to measure and refine the impact of pedagogical innovation in order to enhance learning.

In your view, 120 years is synonymous with…

For me, this anniversary is the chance to celebrate the numerous innovations which have contributed to Audencia’s success. Inspiring perspectives are also what will stimulate our collective intelligence. We will continue to be bold and innovative. Our commitment will enable us to provide creative responses to major economic, managerial and societal challenges with a strong focus on new technologies.
