In a sector undergoing constant evolution, the Programmes Department is adopting a bold approach. By strengthening its areas of differentiation, it aims to continue to develop the multiple skills of our future graduates in line with companies’ needs.

— KEY NUMBER —

The number of countries in which students on the Grande École Programme will develop as part of Global Mobility Track. A new pathway for 2020 to ensure greater internationalisation of the School’s graduates.

What have been your department’s main achievements in 2019?

It has been a successful year for all of our programmes. This success is reflected, firstly, in the consolidation of our 6th place position in the SIGEM ranking. For the bachelor’s degree, our excellence was rewarded by achieving 1st place nationally in the Challenges Magazine ranking. For the Specialised Master’s® Degree and Master of Science programmes, we successfully obtained CGE (Conférence des Grandes Écoles) accreditation. SciencesCom organised its first Learning Expedition for apprentices in Berlin to explore trends in new media and digital innovations in the field of communication. This is a global dynamic that we must continue to support in 2020.

What is the outlook for 2020?

Hybridisation of skills, internationalisation and the strong relationships we have forged with companies are the factors that set us apart, and those which we must continue to support for our development in the higher education market. For this reason, we will be implementing the Global Mobility Track in order to reinforce the international experience of future graduates on the Grande École Programme. At the same time, we will be reviewing all of our bachelor’s degree, Specialised Master’s®, Master of Science and SciencesCom programmes. For the first time, a number of SciencesCom students will be specialising in a major as part of the Grande École Programme. The aim is that they acquire a dual skill in marketing or audiovisual production. This development is in line with the repositioning of the specialist majors for greater clarity and for better general coherence. More generally, we want to align our programmes with the School’s strategy and ensure that our graduates become multi-skilled professionals.

In your view, 120 years is synonymous with…

120 years in existence, this is a real advantage in a highly competitive market! It represents 120 years of experience and excellence during which we have made a significant contribution to redefining what a business school has to offer. A historical foundation of sustained excellence on which we can rely today to build the School of the future. Above all, our 120 years of agility and audacity promise a bright future for Audencia.
